Will Puppy Culture help puppies who resource guard from people?

There are two answers to this - yes and no.
Yes, if your puppy is under 12 weeks, and you are able to start working on the Resource Guarding Prevention work in the film, you should see dramatic improvement with this issue.
However - NOT do what we show in the film with puppies over 12 weeks, or adult dogs. This is discussed in the film, but while the principles are the same with treating adult dogs who resource guard, the safety measures needed to handle adult dogs during this training are radically different than what is shown in the film. It's best to consult with a qualified professional (such as a certified behavior counselor or veterinary behaviorist) on how to formulate a training and management plan.
You can find more information on treating resource guarding in adult dogs in the book MINE! by Jean Donaldson, who is featured in the Puppy Culture film and is the expert on treating resource guarding.
